Since her graduation at the National University of Singapore in 1985, Kuo Po has entrenched and established herself as a well -known and popular entertainer in the local entertainment scene.

She is also the only female performing saxophonist in South-East Asia. Kuo Po interjects her songs with jazzy saxophone solos that alternates with her powerful vocals. Her repertoire ranges from jazz, rhythm and blues to rock 'n' roll.

Kuo Po travelled to many countries to perform to audience of different cultures and nationalities. She has also been sent by the Singapore Tourist Promotion Board in their tourist missions to perform in gala shows promoting Singapore as a tourist destination. Kuo Po has performed in Shanghai, Mumbai, New Delhi, Cairo, Dubai, Bahrain, Japan, Hong Kong as well as neighboring countries in the region.

Kuo Po has also been engaged by local and large multi-national corporations to perform at their social events. These were attended by high- ranking government ministers and corporate executives. Kuo Po has performed for two of Singapore’s past and present Presidents, Mr. Wee Kim Wee and Mr. Ong Teng Cheong in gala events.

She also appeared on national television, performing in entertainment specials and as a celebrity guest in game shows. Her warm and bubbly personality helps her establish a good rapport with her audience when she performs.
